CAS Field Name Guidelines | CAS

Field Name Syntax:
  • All letters must be uppercase.
  • Only letters, numbers, and underscores are allowed.
  • Names must start with a letter.
  • There is no field name length limit.  However, you should keep them readable.
  • Numbers can be used from the second letter on.
  • You can use underscores to separate words.

Valid Examples:

CURBAL, CURRENT_BALANCE, AS_OF_2010, N_1234, N1234

 

Invalid Examples: 

1_FIELD, CUR BAL, Current_Balance
